How much does a certified translation cost?

Each page of your file is $12.50, $15 or $18.75, set by your language pair, while it holds up to 350 words. A file that averages more than that is priced by the word instead, $0.05 to $0.075 a word. The quote shows which applies, with the page and word counts, before you pay.

Do I have to count the pages myself?

No. Your browser counts the pages and words as soon as you drop the file, so the price and the delivery date appear at once, and no account is needed. We confirm the final count from your actual file before translation begins. If it differs from your estimate, we tell you before any extra charge.

Why do some languages cost more?

Every language has a tier by how easily we staff it with our own translators, and there are three price levels: $12.50, $15 and $18.75 a page. A pair with English is priced at the level of its rarer language. No pair costs more than $18.75 a page.

What if neither language is English?

A pair like Chinese to Russian is a custom language pair. It is priced one level above its languages, from $15 a page and never more than $18.75. You see the exact price on the quote and pay at checkout, like any other order.

Can I cancel and get my money back?

Accepted Answer

Before a translator has started your document, you receive a full refund. After translation has started but before delivery, the refund is prorated to the pages not yet translated. After delivery, a completed order is not refunded, with one exception: our guarantee.

Is every translation certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every order carries a signed Certificate of Accuracy that states the translator's competence and the completeness of the translation. There is no uncertified option.

What happens after I upload my document?

Accepted Answer

You see the price at once and pay online by card. A certified translator, native or fluent in your language, translates the document. Our check in the USA compares names, dates, numbers and every seal against your original, plus layout and completeness. The certified translator then signs and stamps the Certificate of Accuracy, and the signed PDF lands in your dashboard and by email.

How fast will I get it?

Standard delivery is 24, 48 or 72 hours depending on the language, for up to 8 pages, with one more day for each further 8 pages. Expedited delivery (up to 10 pages) cuts that to 6, 12 or 24 hours for a small fee. The quote shows your delivery date before you pay.

What do I receive?

One PDF: the translation, the signed Certificate of Accuracy and a copy of your original. Printed copies by mail are not offered yet.

88 languages, to or from English from $12.50 a page. A pair without English is a custom language pair, from $15 a page. Every language is open for orders.

What files can I upload, and how should I scan?

We accept .pdf, .docx, .doc, .txt, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tif, .tiff, .heic, .webp, up to 50 MB per file. PDF is the most reliable for text scans. A flatbed scanner gives the most consistent result, and a phone scanning app, or a plain photo taken with a camera, works too if it follows the checklist: 300 DPI or more, in colour, flat and straight-on, all four corners in the frame, no shadow and the flash off. A scan the system cannot read is checked by hand, which takes longer than an instant quote.

Who sees my documents?

Your document is visible to the translator assigned to your order and to our team members who check, certify and deliver it. We do not share it with any other customer, or with any third party beyond what is needed to fulfil your order, without telling you first.

How long do you keep my documents?

Accepted Answer

We keep your completed translation and the order record so you can download it again from your account. We do not keep uploaded source documents indefinitely once an order is complete and delivered, and if you want one deleted sooner, contact us.
