Will USCIS accept the translation?

8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) asks for a full English translation and a translator's signed statement that they are competent and the translation is accurate. Each certified order carries that signed certificate. The guarantee covers the translation, not your case outcome.

What if USCIS or another authority rejects it?

If USCIS (or the named receiving authority) rejects our certified translation, we revise it free. If it is still not accepted, we refund it in full. If you receive an RFE, forward it: a translator compares the flagged section against your original, usually within one business day.

Can you reword it to read differently?

A certified translation has to match its source, so a request to change wording, formatting or content that was already correctly translated is not a defect. Once a Certificate of Accuracy has been issued, style changes are outside the guarantee.

Names match the passport spelling
Every name in the translation — including on seals, stamps and witness lines — matches the spelling on the applicant's passport, exactly.

Locations are complete
Cities, districts, provinces and countries are translated in full, not abbreviated or left in the original script.

Dates are unambiguous
Day/month/year order is never left to guesswork, and any non-Gregorian calendar (Buddhist era, Ge'ez, Bikram Sambat, Hebrew) is converted alongside the original.

If the RFE is about the underlying document rather than the translation (for example, the original itself is missing information), we'll say so before you spend more time on it.

This covers the translation — not your case outcome

The guarantee applies to defects in the translation itself: a misspelled name, a missing field, an unclear date. It does not — and cannot — extend to whether your immigration case is approved. No translation company can promise an outcome that depends on your eligibility, your other evidence, and an officer’s discretion. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you.

Problems caused by the source document itself — illegible originals, missing pages, or information the issuing authority never recorded.
Wording changes requested for style or preference rather than an accuracy issue, once a Certificate of Accuracy has already been issued.
