How cancellations, prorated refunds, and the guarantee work at Wayease.
This page is a draft, not yet in force
If you cancel before a translator has begun working on your document, you receive a full refund. If you cancel after translation has started but before your order is delivered, the refund is prorated: you are charged only for the portion of the work already completed at the time you cancel, and the rest is refunded.
| When you cancel | What you get back |
|---|---|
| Before a translator has started your document | Full refund |
| After translation has started, before delivery | Refund prorated to the pages not yet translated |
| After delivery and certification | No refund, unless the translation is rejected and a revision does not resolve it (Section 2) |
Once your certified translation has been delivered, we do not issue a refund for a completed order — with one exception: our guarantee. If USCIS (or the named receiving authority) rejects our certified translation, we revise it free, and if it is still not accepted we refund it in full. A translation defect means the delivered translation is incomplete or inconsistent with the source document — for example, a missing section or a detail that does not match the original.
If you find a defect, we revise it at no cost — this is covered in full under our Terms of Service. If a revision does not resolve the rejection, we refund the order in full.
What isn't a translation defect
Contact us with your order number and we will confirm what stage your order is at and how much, if anything, is refundable under this policy — reach us through the contact page. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe.
